Peach Impatiens beginner gardener how to garden
Peach Impatiens

Impatiens are annuals which bloom all spring and summer. They have colorful, dainty flowers which multiply easily. The first hard frost will kill them. Unfortunately, the deer and rabbits love to eat them. A deer/rabbit repellent spray will help keep impatiens blooming. We have had excellent results with Bobbex B550100 Concentrated Deer Repellent, 32-Ounce We are happy to report that both deer and rabbits dislike Bobbex! For beginner gardeners, the key to growing impatiens is shade. Keep them in a shady area with very little sunlight, and they will be happy!

Hostas also love a shady garden spot! We love Variegated Hosta which is a nice contrast to Impatiens …
