It’s late Winter in the Mid-Atlantic area of the U.S. We still have snow on the ground, but scores of Robins, BlueJays and Mockingbirds signal an early Spring! We usually have a late Winter snowstorm that makes us anxious for Spring. So, when we see the Robins return for the Spring, we know it won’t be long before we are in the garden! Our Mockingbird stays in our garden all year long. He fights for territory and serenades us throughout Spring and Summer. He nests in our Burning Bush next to the garage.
