#Autumn #Travel to #BlueRidgeMountains!

We usually take a trip to the mountains in the Autumn. It’s an opportunity to exhale, relax, and talk. We have found that communication is the key to a healthy relationship. Daily work and other activities can take up so much of your time that you barely have a chance look at your significant other and say “Hello, how are you?” When we go to the mountains, we take lots of walks. It gives us a chance to clear our heads, and it helps us regain perspective. Sometimes you can get so caught up in the daily grind, that you forget what’s really important in life.

Looking at the stunning mountain vistas is an awesome experience. Mountains are so large and imposing that they make you and your problems feel small by comparison! That’s why we love going to the mountains. Somehow, we come away with a whole new perspective.

When we travel, we usually use the Hilton Honors program and stay at a member of the Hilton chain of hotels. We earn points for free nights, and when we use our AARP card, we get a late checkout time of 2pm! We especially like the Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites due to their free breakfast and large rooms. Whatever your choice, find a getaway location that’s close enough to reach in a few hours, and provides a perfect spot for rest and relaxation!
