It’s late Summer in the Mid-Atlantic area of the U.S.A. and our Sedum Matrona is about to bloom! Sedum Matrona is a succulent plant that does very well in containers. It blooms clusters of light pink flowers. We have 6 reasons to grow Sedum Matrona in containers!

  1. Reason # 1 – Sedum are very low maintenance plants.
  2. Reason # 2 – Sedum add a burst of light pink color to your gardens and landscape.
  3. Reason # 3 – Sedum add texture to your gardens and landscape because they have puffy green leaves!

More Reasons to Grow Sedum in Containers:

Reason # 4 – Sedum are very low maintenance plants. The puffy leaves retain water so you only need to water if it has been dry for a very long time.

Reason # 6 – Sedum are resistant to fungus and insects, so there is no need to spray with insecticide or fungicide!
