Trees are the bones of our landscape. They provide structure, color, and volume. They also provide habitat and food for hundreds of species such as birds, butterflies, and squirrels. Trees also provide monetary value. Ask your local Real Estate Agent about “curb appeal.” If you are selling your home and competing with other homes for sale in your neighborhood, a home with beautiful lawns, gardens, and landscaping will be more appealing to the eye. Another reason to grow majestic trees is because they can reduce your energy bill. If your home faces south or west and receives the hot afternoon sun, a large leafy tree will provide shade and reduce air conditioning costs! Our huge Red Maple tree keeps the front of our home cool all summer!<\/p>\n
