We live in the Mid-Atlantic area of the U.S.A. It rarely goes below 20 degrees in the winter. We have Red Salvia in containers that self-seed and return year after year! Here a 6 tips to get free Red Salvia every year:<\/p>\n

Tip #1 — After the first hard frost, when the temperature goes below 32 degrees, do not cut back the plant. Leaves and stems provide nutrients to the plant during the fall\/winter months, so keep the dormant foliage throughout the fall\/winter months.
