What a gorgeous butterfly — Painted Lady! This is the first time we have seen such a butterfly in our garden/landscape. We were cutting down Zinnias which had powdery mildew on them. We didn’t want the fungus to spread to the rest of our garden/landscape. Even though we were very close to the Painted Lady, she continued to get nectar! When it comes to attracting butterflies to our garden/landscape, Zinnias are the hands-down winners!
