Lamb's Ear
Lamb’s Ear

Lamb’s Ear is an interesting and unique ground cover. It has thick furry leaves, which is why it’s call Lamb’s Ear. Children love to touch Lamb’s ear because it is so unusual for leaves to feel furry! It is very easy to maintain. No pruning is necessary. We fertilize lightly with organic fertilizer Espoma PT18 Plant Tone, 18-Pound in early Spring. Lamb’s Ear is a fun and engaging groundcover!

For beginner gardeners, Lamb’s Ear is one of the easiest plants to grow. The only maintenance is a little fertilizer in the Spring or Autumn. For our Top 5 Easy Maintenance Perennials, click here. To find more low maintenance or no maintenance plants, watch our Low Maintenance Playlist!

It’s early Autumn and we noticed a light frost on the leaves, which give them a sliver glow!
