Myrtle Beach, South Carolina USA is a sub-tropical climate, therefore we see lots of tropical plants that flourish in this climate! During an after-breakfast walk, we noticed a very large shrub with gorgeous magenta flowers!

We don’t know the name of the shrub but the flowers look like azalea blooms. The leaves are about 3 inches long, glossy green, slender and pointy. If you know the name of the shrub, please let us know!
