If you are a beginner gardener or master gardener, and you are looking for the absolute easiest flower to grow and care for, Daffodils are the perfect choice! In Autumn, plant the bulb 6 inches deep into the ground, pointy side up. Cover with soil and apply water. That’s it! What you get in return is gorgeous flowers every Spring. Easy as 1-2-3! No need to fertilize; no deed to prune; no need to water. After the daffodil blooms die off, leave the plant alone. The leaves provide nutrients to the plant for next Spring’s blooms. As they leaves die off, they may look unsightly, so you can cut them off or gently pull them off. We don’t do anything at all. Daffodils are a maintenance-free plant that brighten your garden when it’s still cold outside in late Winter, early Spring.
