As a gardener, sometimes you encounter a gardening scene so gorgeous that you lose yourself … You can actually feel the stress leaving your body. The beauty of Mother Nature consumes you and you melt … On a Spring morning, I canvas the gardens looking for fresh blooms, and encounter a Sonata in Blue Bearded Iris bloom that is protruding from a swollen flower bud. Our rose bush is larger this Spring due to several days of rain, so the Rose bush is encroaching on the Bearded Irises. The visual of the budding Bearded Iris in front of the Rose bush with dew on it’s leaves was gorgeous!
A couple of days later, the Sonata in Blue Bearded Iris blooms! I focus on the color of the bloom this Spring, which looks like a lavender with purple tinges. The color of Sonata in Blue flowers depends on the soil PH. Sometimes, the flowers are light blue! I also focus on the deep burgundy and green of the rose bush leaves, with light droplets of dew on them. Just a few tiny Rode buds fill out a splendid gardening scene!
